Artist Nancy Shay has exhibited in museums and galleries in southern New England as well as at her own studio in Pomfret Center, Connecticut. Working primarily in watercolor and colored pencil, Nancy also produces works in oil, pen-and-ink, etchings, wood- and linoleum-block printing as well as sculptures in plaster, wood and found artifacts. Nature is a common theme in Nancy’s work, as well as her fascination with reflective surfaces.
Fulfilling a lifelong dream, Nancy received her BA in Studio Art in 1998 and now owns and operates Tree Top Studio in the attic of her Pomfret home.
Nancy shares her studio space and home with her dog, Oakley and her husband Bruce.
